Insight took over network responsibilities for a 100+ person, 2-location, engineering firm at the time the firm’s IT manager stepped down.  A system analysis was underway when a major virus hit the company and took out 3 servers and 15 PC’s. The Insight team of technicians went to work immediately to cleanup the network. A Firewall solution was implemented, backups were set up on all Critical servers, and new servers were built and installed that allowed centralized anti-virus monitoring. 

At the same time the firm elected to consolidate the two offices into a single location. This required complex integration of the plotters, printers, and other devices into the single location. 

Once the changes were in place and the system stabilized, Insight trained two of the engineering firm’s employees to manage the day to day network operations.

The company also had Insight assist them in putting together a detailed report as part of an insurance claim to recover the business costs experienced as a result of the computer virus attack.

Currently, Insight Computing is providing periodic monitoring to ensure the ongoing security and stability of the company’s network.
